About This Video

An average mixes the quick visits and the long waits into one number. The long waits still happened, and those customers felt every minute. They just don't show up clearly in the average.

The video lines up 100 customers from the shortest wait to the longest. The person in the middle shows your typical wait. Customer number 90 shows your P90 wait: 9 out of 10 people waited this long or less. Then it shows how Meridian turns every day of the month into one bar and two dots, so you can see how busy you were and how your slowest customers did.

What to Look For

01

The gold line jumps but the blue line stays flat.

Only your slowest customers got hit. Look at which hours and services ran long, and who was on the floor.

02

Both lines climb over a tall bar.

Everyone waited longer. Compare that day's customer count with how many staff you had working.
